GENERAL

What is LOCA?

LOCA is a private platform we have created to make it easier to find, access and work with the leading brands, talent and opinion formers. 

Members are invited to join and given direct access to a curated community of performers, press, creatives, influencers, business leaders, brands, services, stores, media across 14 industries. 

Not only does LOCA save hours of researching and finding contacts, but we also provide members with the first set of digital tools to discreetly facilitate outreach. 

Memberships come with 5 users, allowing you and everyone involved in PR, publicity, VIP, management, bookings, creative and events (including any PR/Talent agencies working for you) to be added: maximising team efforts, budgets and opportunities.

Are you an Influencer Platform?

No we are not an Influencer Platform, our members are brands, businesses and individuals and are welcome based on authenticity and credibility in their field, whether they have 0-10M followers, creating a unique community of brands and individuals to discover and work with.

Are you a social network?

No we are not a social network, but a business tool created to make life easier and allow members to discover and connect with their peer across 14 industries. 

We take the pressure out of business networking with no commenting, ranking, liking or the need to wish everyone happy birthday!  

Can I trial the platform?

As a private community we sadly cannot allow trials of the platform for privacy reasons. 

On what devices can you use LOCA?

LOCA offers it's members a cross-platform experience, with a desktop, iPad and iOS application to ensure you stay up to date on the go. (android application to follow...) 

How secure is LOCA?

Very secure! We strictly vet all members and have encrypted our database. All members must also play by the Club Rules, which includes not harassing any members - those that do may be asked to leave the platform!

How often do I need to update LOCA?

We created LOCA to make life easier and not to be another network to update daily. We simply ask that you complete all the relevant sections of your profile when you join and keep the community up to date by adding key content and activity: eg collaborations, imagery, VIP activity and news that you would want to share with leading press, talent, business leaders, creatives and other brands.  

Can I propose new members?

All members who join the site will be given the opportunity to propose brands, businesses and individuals to benefit from free membership at this time. These are limited - so please be fast! 

What are the Club Rules?

LOCA is a private club and we ask all users to adhere to the club rules. These can be found within our terms to use and in the site. Any users not playing by the rules may be asked to leave the platform.

BRAND MEMBERS

What types of brands can join LOCA?

LOCA welcomes products, services, experiences, stores, media and industry services across 14 industries. LOCA is a melting pot of premium - luxury, new-established, mainstream - alternative.   

Why is brand membership currently free?

We know it is tough out there, and want to use our platform to help as many brands and businesses at this challenging time. There is no obligation, but should you want to contribute to your membership this would be greatly appreciated and help us help more at this time... do get in touch at membership@loca.world 

What is the usual membership fee?

We created LOCA to be a low cost tool that all brands and business could access and benefit from whatever their size. A standard brand membership is therefore only £900 (£75 per month). This comes with 5 user licences making the per user monthly price less than a bottle of wine, at £15!! 

I have a PR agency, do I need LOCA?

Yes of course...LOCA was created to increase team collaboration and maximise efforts, budgets and opportunities for all.  

Profiles come with 5-15 users allowing you and everyone involved in the brands PR, communications, events, management, partnerships, content creation and social media to be added (including any agencies, companies and consultants working for you)  

This also allows your team to also benefit from the professional and personal perks of being part of the LOCA community. 

Can I add more team than 5 to the profile?

Yes memberships come with 5, 10 or 15 user licences. To upgrade simply go to your settings and upgrade the account to the number of users you need. 

Can I trial the platform?

As a private community we sadly cannot allow trials of the platform for privacy reasons. 

Can I take separate profiles for the different areas of my business / brand?

Yes, we have designed LOCA to  allow you to showcase all the areas of your brands. Therefore if you have more than one sector ie you have a fashion, beauty, kids, interiors... you can take a LOCA profile for each. This allows you to dd the relevant content and teams and also send perks and invites by sectors. You will also come up in the right sector searches, maximising awareness and opportunities.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

Is Individual membership free?

Yes, membership is complimentary for talent, creatives, press, lifestyle experts and digital influencers...

How many professions can I list on LOCA?

We know that some of you have multiple professions..we have created LOCA to allow you to highlight 2 primary professions and 3 secondary, allowing you to appear in multiple searches. You can add, delete or edit order of importance at any time inline with your current strategy

Can I be contacted directly on LOCA?

As a private network where all members are vetted, many of our high profile members are part of the team on their profile. 

However should you not wish to have access to the news, perks and invites you receive but not be directly contactable you can simply set yourself to a ghost user.  

Do you take a commission?

No, we are not an agency and we do not take a commission on any work you find through LOCA. 

Can managers, publicists and agents join?

Yes of course...LOCA was created to increase team collaboration and maximise efforts, budgets and opportunities for all.  

Profiles come with 5-15 users allowing yourself and everyone involved in your publicity, management, work bookings, partnerships. content creation, styling and social media to be added (including any agencies, companies and consultants working for you)  

This will allow your team to also benefit from the professional and personal perks of being part of the LOCA community. 

Can everyone see the perks and invites I am sent?

No all the perks, invites, styling intentions are only seen by you and any of your team that are on the profile. We also do not share who is attending what...

How secure is LOCA?

AGENCIES

Does my agency have a profile?

LOCA profiles are taken by 'Brand Name' or Individual Name', allowing all in-house and/or agency representatives to be added to the team to maximise the opportunities for the member. 

All the brands that you represent on LOCA will show under your name, allowing you to showcase all your clients that are on the platform.

I am a new agency to LOCA how does it work for me?

Do you take a commission?

No, we do not take a commission.  

How can I add more clients to LOCA?

If you are a current user on LOCA and would like to add more clients, then please look for the curations icon on your top navigation and you can propose brands and / or individuals directly. Alternatively drop us an email at membership@loca.world
